A Series on Domestic Violence
Domestic Violence Awareness Month
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the impact of domestic violence and supporting those affected by it. At The Bergen County Mom, we are proud to partner with Julia Hochstadt, LCSW, from Therapy with Julia, to present the “Voices of Empowerment” web series.
Background on Julia
Julia is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in supporting individuals through trauma and empowering them on their healing journeys. With her compassionate approach and dedication to mental health, Julia brings invaluable insights into the complexities of domestic violence, helping to foster understanding and resilience.
Our Series
Together, we aim to create a platform that helps educate our community and provides vital resources and support for those in need. Join us each week this October as we promote awareness and provide the tools necessary for healing and empowerment. There will be weekly videos added below, focusing on different elements of Domestic Violence. Make sure to follow along on our YouTube channel and Instagram.
